The empowerment of women, most especially the Solo Parents through capacity and capability training for jobs and livelihood has been part of BPO’s advocacies for many years. BPO is honored and privileged to be with our very own Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez for the Solo Parents in Cebu.
She has been helping us in training the Solo Parents through ICT and Call Center Training as part of her personal advocacy. We visited the town of Cordova, Cebu, and crossed the sea to Hilutungan Island to check the wellbeing of the solo parents.
Well, there’s a lot to be done but we believe that by helping the mothers and the solo parents, we can give more lasting, impactful, and sustainable support to the community, parents, and the children.
